Dear Distinguished Guests, Colleagues, and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd International Conference on Innovative Structure and Resilient City (ISRC 2026), held from August 22 to 24, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, enabling both in-person and online participation.
Following the successful launch of the 1st ISRC, held from September 27 to 29, 2025, in Nagoya, Japan, ISRC 2026 continues this international conference series and aims to further promote academic exchange and collaboration in the fields of innovative structures and resilient city development.
With increasing challenges such as climate change, rapid urbanization, extreme events, and aging infrastructure, building resilient cities has become a key issue in urban planning and engineering. ISRC 2026 provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers, and industry experts to share recent advances, technologies, and practical experiences related to resilient infrastructure and urban systems.
We are pleased to host this year’s conference in Bangkok, a dynamic international city that reflects both the opportunities and challenges of urban resilience. We sincerely hope that ISRC 2026 will foster meaningful discussions, new collaborations, and innovative ideas for building sustainable and resilient cities.
We are honored to welcome distinguished keynote speakers and contributors from around the world. Their expertise and insights will enrich the technical sessions and stimulate in-depth discussions on current challenges and future directions in resilient city research and practice. In addition to academic sessions, ISRC 2026 also provides valuable opportunities for networking and international collaboration.
Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, reviewers, sponsors, and supporting organizations whose dedication makes ISRC 2026 possible.
We warmly welcome you to Bangkok and to ISRC 2026, and we look forward to your active participation in advancing resilient, sustainable, and future-ready cities.
Sincerely,
ISRC 2026 Organizing Committee
